(G50) Magnificently rendered with polychrome application, with superb gold and vermilion pigments enlivening the portrayal, complemented by blue-black and copper-green details, seated majestically in rajalilasana, her right hand resting on the raised leg, the left hand supporting the pose, she wears a splendid vermilion diadem of triangular form with foliate scrolls, centred by the carved effigy of the seated Amitabha Buddha, her hair twisted up into a high chignon, with tresses looped around her pendulous lobes and flowing in rippling tendrils over the shoulders, the round face bordered by a curved hairline, her features in harmonious proportions, the eyes set with stone, her plump lips pursed in an expression of solemnity, she wears an intricate floral necklace bearing a variation of the vajra symbol, with bracelets encircling both arms, an elongated shoulder scarf draped about her form, the brahmanic cord slung diagonally across her torso and tied at the waist, securing her dhoti so that it falls in an elegant double-skirt to her ankles.
