(G64) Radiating grace and dynamism, the benevolent bodhisattva exquisitely carved, seated at ease in lalitasana with her left hand raised in a form of vitarka mudra, the right hand supporting the pose, her head crowned with an elaborate high diadem composed of foliate scrolls, centred by the carved effigy of the seated Amitabha Buddha seated in dhyanasana, her hair arranged in a dramatic high chignon, with tresses looped around her pendulous lobes and falling in splayed tresses over her level shoulders, her rippling hairline framing the characteristically plump face with lovingly carved features, with a slightly raised urna marked in the centre of her forehead, between her prominent eyebrows, arching over her narrow, slanted eyes with their gaze humbly downcast, her lips enlivened with applied vermilion pigment, forming a gentle pout with slightly upturned corners, exuding vitality and spiritual ease, festooned with an intricate foliate necklace, with armlets and bracelets encircling her arms, her shoulders draped with an ornamental scarf, a brahmanic cord tied loosely across her curvaceous torso and tied at the waist to secure her dhoti so that it falls in an elegant double-skirt down to her ankles, the folds in the fabric heavily accentuated, with both feet exposed.
